Boone County Library's Response

We are following the Kalamazoo Public Library's procedures in preventing the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) disease.

These measures work equally well to prevent the spread of the Flu Virus.

Providing hand sanitizer

Hand sanitizer and tissues are located at all public desks.  If the bottle is missing or empty, please ask any staff member for a replacement.

Increasing the frequency of hard surface disinfection

Handrails, door handles, elevator buttons, sinks and faucets, countertops, window sills, light switches, chair arms, and copier controls will be disinfected more frequently.

Requiring BCL staff stay home when they are sick

Requiring BCL staff to regularly practice the preventative measures listed above
