Our Mission
The BCL Foundation supports the Boone County Library in efforts to strengthen our community and county, and to empower our citizens through free and public access to knowledge.
With individual and/or corporate support, the BCL Foundation may support facility improvements, expand collections, maintain cutting edge technology, and enhance literary and humanities programming for children, teens, and adults. The BCL Foundation secures individual and/or corporate support that provides the margin of excellence that creates a great Library.
Contributions
Contributions to the BCL Foundation can be made in many forms:
- Cash or checks written directly to the 'Boone County Library Foundation'
- Pledged gifts that are paid on an agreed-upon schedule
- Stock transfers
- Planned Gifts (trusts, estates)
- Gifts of real estate that can be sold
The BCL Foundation is a 501(c)3 corporation and all contributions are tax deductible. Once your gift has been received, the Foundation will send you a receipt for your tax record. Gifts may be mailed to the address below with 'Attn: Cathy Brandt, Foundation Treasurer'.
