Mission Statement
The Boone County Library was created to serve as the primary resource for the informational needs of all citizens of Boone County and other patrons. Services will be focused on lifelong learning, intellectual stimulation, cultural enrichment, and recreational reading. The public library is a symbol of freedom and a bastion of democracy in our culture. The Boone County Library is dedicated to upholding those traditions and the public's freedom of access to information and knowledge.

Inclement Weather Closures (snow days)
The Library may be closed on days in which the Harrison Public Schools are closed.
Closings (full days and partial days) will be at the discretion of the Director.
Closings will be posted on our website and called into the local radio stations by the Director.
