Mission Statement
The Boone County Library was created to serve as the primary resource for the informational needs of all citizens of Boone County and other patrons. Services will be focused on lifelong learning, intellectual stimulation, cultural enrichment, and recreational reading. The public library is a symbol of freedom and a bastion of democracy in our culture. The Boone County Library is dedicated to upholding those traditions and the public's freedom of access to information and knowledge.
